Job Description
A successful scientific company are seeking a Quality Analyst/Software Tester to join the QA team at their site in Bath. You will be working within the QA Team, to maintain and improve the quality of the company’s products. The company are involved in the manufacture and distribution of scientific instruments such as HPLC and GC, as well as related software.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. Prior experience in a software-related role is not essential as training will be provided, but you must have a background working with relevant scientific instrumentation.
Role Overview
- Working closely with product and software developers to test and ensure Quality standards are met and that software products are ready to be released.
- Software testing – performance testing, functional testing, writing bug reports, providing testing feedback to colleagues.
- Involvement in the Validation and Auditing of software, including at customer sites.

Essential Requirements
- Experience with and theoretical knowledge of chromatography, particularly HPLC and GC
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for science and technology and a drive to progress.
- Degree in a scientific discipline (desirable).
- Knowledge of, or experience within, a quality and/or software-related role is highly beneficial. In return
