Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Qualified Person to join a leading pharmaceutical company based across Multiple locations in the UK. As the Qualified Person, you will be responsible for batch release of a sterile product. This position is working at a Manufacturing site close to Stoke, with options for home-based work but is not a fully remote role.  They are looking for an individual ideally with management experience and would like them to take the lead of managing the QMS.

We have 4 available vacancies for the below locations: 

  • Dinnington South Yorkshire x2
  • Guildford
  • Keele

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review and evaluate batch records and authorise batch disposition (Annex 16 GMP Regulations).
  • Ensure that testing is carried out, according to AMR analytical control procedures and EU Pharmacopoeia specifications.
  • Approve process deviations/laboratory investigation ensuring that problems are addressed in compliance with GMP and AMR procedures.
  • Monitor the nature, extent and frequency of complaints.
  • To coordinate AMR recall procedure.
  • Ensure appropriate ‘analytical method’ validation is carried out for all non-compendial test methods.
  • Support site validation activities ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.
  • Approve AMR’s Change Control procedures.
  • Coordinate AMR internal and external auditing programmes.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers, contract laboratories, and contract manufacturers (where applicable).

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

We will be looking for experience in the following:

  • Qualification in a scientific discipline.
  • Education requirements for the role of the Qualified Person such as a diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of active substances and the necessary testing.
