Job Description

A leading and successful provider of analytical testing and Forensics services is currently seeking a Senior Reporting Officer to join their team in Derbyshire on a permanent full-time basis. Ideal for a candidate with a strong background in Forensic toxicology and experience of preparing and presenting reports.

Role Overview

  • Review and process analytical data to prepare reports.

  • Liaise with colleagues and clients and act as the primary point of contact for Police Officers, attending court when required.

  • Prepare samples and analyse exhibits.

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and regulations including ISO17025.

    Requirements

  • A Degree or equivalent in Forensics or Chemistry related discipline is highly beneficial but not essential.

  • Previous experience in Forensic Toxicology (Drugs of Abuse)

  • Strong experience with relevant analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and processing analytical data.

  • A working knowledge of current legislation, regulations and standards relevant to the role.
