Job Description
A Leading Supplement Manufacturer are seeking a Senior Formulation Scientist to join them at their site in Blackpool. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Technical Director, using your expertise in solid dose formulation to review and approve new formulations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join this already successful organisation at an exciting time of expansion, with realistic progression towards taking over leadership and management of the Technical NPD Team.
Role Overview:
- Review and approve new formulations.
- Plan, conduct and report on Lab Based trials of new products/formulations and raw materials.
- Support manufacturing, sales and customer support teams with Technical Queries.
- Monitor and review specifications and any deviations, ensuring adherence to relevant procedures and standards

Requirements:
- Educated to Degree level or above in a relevant discipline
- Extensive hands-on experience in Formulation (Solid Dosage Form, Vitamins, Pharmaceuticals, Supplements, Nutraceuticals etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and processes.

You will be working in both office and Lab settings on a variety of existing products and NPD Projects. There is a realistic progression route for you to take ownership the Technical NPD Team in a Leadership/Management role.
