A leading Medical Device Manufacturer is seeking a QC Technician to join the team at their site in Tonbridge. The company manufacture, pack and distribute from this site, so you will gain exposure to Quality procedures at various stages of the process. This would be an excellent opportunity if you have a scientific education, a good awareness of GLP, and you’re looking to start your career in QC. 

Role Overview:

• Inspection of raw materials, components, in-process batches and final products. 
• Investigation testing into failed batches, customer complaints and R&D trial batches. 
• Operation of Laboratory equipment in line with SOPs. Including calibration, care and maintenance as and when required.
• Ensuring all work is conducted in line with GLP and H&S standards
• Ensure the accuracy of all records and documents in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

Essential Requirements:

• Educational background ideally in Chemistry - at minimum GCSE level or equivalent. 
• Excellent Attention to detail. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Good knowledge of Good Lab Practice (GLP).
