Contract work for developing novel diagnostic platforms.

Solving complex biological, chemical and engineering problems.

BSc and post grad certificate

How did you get into this role?

Interested in diagnostics, space and intersection of biology and engineering 

What are you most proud of in your career?

The amount of responsibility that I have at such an early stage of my career and my resilience.

What do you like most about your job?

Every day is different.

Anything you particularly dislike?

Would like a higher salary, I bring significant value beyond my pay grade that I'd like to be recognised and rewarded.

What qualities do you believe you need to succeed in this job?

Resourcefulness, Adaptability, Lateral thinking.

What advice would you give someone wanting to get into your industry?

Do internships, gain experience and find out what you love, then run with it.

Finally, what is the strangest thing you have ever had to do in your working life?

Buy meat for an experiment, I am a vegetarian and the whole experience was a very tough moral dilemma.
