Client Case Study: Engineering Recruitment

The client

Our client is one of the largest UK-based food manufacturers. Hosting several production sites throughout the UK, this client's state-of-the-art production facilities have solidified their position as a top-tier fresh food producer within the industry

The brief

Due to team expansion, our client was looking for additional support from a specialist engineering recruitment partner to assist them in the fulfilment of multiple maintenance engineering positions. 

Network Scientific were recruited with the task of sourcing the ideal candidates for roles within their East Yorkshire sites, looking for particular individuals who were compatible with the role and culture, and had relevant experience.

Our approach 

Much like all of our approaches, we used a range of advertisement channels to encourage wider candidate interest for each engineering job role. This included job advertisements on multiple social media channels, job boards, as well as on our website. 

Partnered with our vast network of active and passive seekers, we were able to identify and reach out to several highly relevant candidates for each position. 

Once we conducted a full screening process, we were able to shortlist a candidate list of nine candidates who met the job criteria. From this, seven candidates were interviewed. 

Our result

From the seven candidates interviewed, we were able to successfully place two engineers within the Yorkshire site. We continue to work closely with this client, and our success has since led to the development of a more exclusive relationship as their engineering recruitment partner. 

We're now actively hiring for our client's Yorkshire locations and are also expanding our recruitment efforts to include various positions across multiple sites throughout the UK.
