UK Field Service Engineer – Laboratory Equipment
Location: UK and Ireland
Salary:
£45,000 -£55,000 base + Company Car
The company is a leading manufacturer of Microscopy Instruments. Their technologies are integral to scientific research and industrial applications worldwide serving a variety of fields.
The Position:
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairing of instruments across the UK and Ireland.
- Teach customers how to operate and maintain their systems effectively.
- Perform diagnostics, address potential issues proactively, and ensure system reliability.
- The position is home-based in England, with regular travel across the UK.
- Keep accurate records of service activities and generate reports for customers and internal teams.
- Working closely with the other Service Engineers in the territory.
The Requirements:
- Educated in a Scientific or Engineer field; Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; or related field.
- Field Service Engineer experience is required.
- Comfortable with regular travel.
- Valid Drivers licence and fluent English is essential.
