Laboratory Instrument Field Service Engineer
Location: West Coast, USA
The company is a leading global service provider for laboratory instruments. The instruments they work on include Bioprocess, Centrifuges, LC-MS, Microplate readers, Incubators and more.
Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 base + Car Allowance + Bonus
The role :
The position is home based anywhere on the West Coast with regular travel (60%-80%) to customer sites across the West Coast of the USA.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments, as well as the refurbishment of instruments.
Effectively communicate with customers before going on site and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs.
Serve as a member of the customer account team by contributing your technical expertise to resolve customer questions, troubleshoot customer issues, and identify additional opportunities to serve our customers.
The Requirements:
3 years of Field Service experience is required.
Valid Drivers licence and fluent English is essential.
Ability to work independently and comfortable with travel.
