The healthcare business detailed in this case study is an innovative, start-up organisation providing financial service solutions to the medical industry. They were experiencing a rapid period of rapid growth and financial gain and therefore needed the assistance of an experienced recruitment company to support their commercial and operational departments.
The Requirement
Having identified an innovative solution to an age-old issue surrounding timely payments for consultants and surgeons, they needed to scale rapidly and approached Network Scientific for assistance.
The company required a swift and confidential approach to the recruitment campaigns so chose to utilise our retained services in which both parties committed to each other on an exclusive basis.

Our Approach
The company chose to use our retained services to ensure they received our full commitment to the process as they wanted assurances that the primary objectives were reached in an efficient and timely manner. They also benefited from the split payment approach, allowing them to better manage their own finances and cash-flow.
The initial stage involved an intensive qualification meeting with our client to ensure we had a thorough understanding of the business, the goals and the requirements and responsibilities of the positions. We needed to fully understand the employer brand of the business so that this would be reflected in our candidate identification and management processes.
Our candidate searches involve utilising our existing database and network, as well as sourcing through job boards and advertisements. We performed extensive market research to identify the candidates most suited to the positions, and those most capable of driving further company growth.
Our screening processes are thorough, involving a meticulous assessment of suitability. For this campaign, they involved interviewing candidates at least twice prior to client submission. We ensured each candidate fits the experience criteria and culture suitability, giving them full details of the positions to assess both their compatibility and interest in the role. This is the most time-consuming, yet essential component of the recruitment process. We used our experience and industry knowledge to enable us to quickly determine suitability from both a technical and logistical perspective. Allowing us to create a highly relevant shortlist of candidates who were most suited to the positions.
We took great care to ensure that our communication was transparent with both our client and candidates in process so that all parties were fully informed at all stages.

We successfully identified and placed all of the positions in the company well within all set deadlines. As a result, our relationship with this particular client is very strong and they returned very quickly with additional, this time temporary recruitment requirements.
