A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking multiple Sample Receipt Technicians to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.
Role Overview
- Receive, record , weigh, split and extract samples in preparation for analysis.
- Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard operation procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025
- Temporary, Full-time(39 hours pw) usually Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM. Shifts may also be required Tues-Sat Earliest Start time 6:30AM , latest finish time 9PM.
- Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends.
- Opportunities to go permanent and progress.
- Start Date ASAP.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
- Experience working in a production/ lab or similar relevant fast pace environment highly beneficial.
- Graduates of Scientific disciplines encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to begin immediately in Burton on Trent.
