Job Description

Our client is a globally leading environmental testing company with a reputation for delivering high quality testing and regulatory advice. They are seeking an experienced Terrestrial Ecotoxicologist to provide technical leadership and direction for their highly knowledgeable and professional team.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Conducting ecotoxicology toxicity studies to GLP.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of study data and timely review.
  • To prepare client reports and presentations.
  • Supervision and direct of junior staff and technicians.
  • Client liaison and participation in client visits.
  • Provide assistance with the quotation process and study scheduling.

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least degree level in Biology, Environmental Science, Zoology, Ecotoxicology or a related subject. You will have proven experience within Terrestrial Ecotoxicology with specific experience with non-target arthropods, non‑target plants, soil organisms, pollinators and/or microorganisms. Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring or developing colleagues would be a distinct advantage. Effective communication skills are essential in this role with the ability to impart experience and knowledge to both clients and colleagues.
