Our client are a forward thinking and pioneering business who are looking to grow and develop progressively within the market. They focus on providing healthy and sustainable ingredients to help shape and improve food products for the consumer. Due to growth, they are now looking to immediately recruit a Laboratory Technician on an initial 6-month contract.
The suitable individual will be responsible for preparing and analysing samples within the laboratory, ensuring that processes are carried out to company procedures and standards. Results will need to be reported promptly and correctly to the wider team and you should be thorough in your findings. Training will be given and the suitable incumbent will also ensure equipment is well maintained and repaired if necessary.
Temporary - 6 months
To be considered for the role you will need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant Scientific discipline, have worked in an analytical laboratory environment. Experience in HPLC is imperative, ideally working with Chromeleon software. If you have expertise in Food/Ingredients this would also be highly beneficial. You should be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a team, being able to communicate effectively. A keen eye for detail is also integral for the role.
