Are you looking to move out of the lab into a commercial role? Do you have immunochemical testing experience gained in an NHS Clinical Chemistry or Blood Sciences laboratory?
This company are leading suppliers of quality laboratory and diagnostic products. Having won the contract to supply products and instruments for the Bowel Cancer Screening programmes up and down the country, they are looking to appoint an additional Technical Specialist. Based in the South of the UK, ideally along the M4 corridor between South Wales and Hampshire, this role will be to provide commercial, technical support and troubleshooting, applications, training and technical engineering support to clients for their products. You will work closely with the Service Manager and Product Management to assist with the provision of service and application support for installed instruments as required.
Essentially, you will have a broad base of hands on laboratory experience from UK NHS Clinical Chemistry/Blood Sciences or academic or research environments and specifically experience of ELISA applications. You are self-motivated, entrepreneurial and responsible with proven inter-personal and communication skills, able to engage with customers and team members. You can think strategically and act logically and fit well as a team player in a small company environment. Ideally you will have application knowledge of clinical chemistry on mainframe analysers and are used to troubleshooting or getting involved with first line support on lab instruments.
