Job Description

We are working in partnership with a global contract testing organisation that is currently experiencing a period of growth and restructure. This is an exciting time for a proven Team Leader to join this organisation and take advantage of the progression opportunities
available.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing in line with client project requirements
  • Manage multiple client projects and ensure deliverables are achieved by predetermined deadlines
  • Organise multidisciplinary teams of Scientists, providing clarity on the direction of the project from commencement to completion
  • Produce analytical reports at the request of the client
  • Ensure compliance to GxP, company standards and any other relevant quality systems

In addition, the Team Leader role will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the facility through optimal allocation of resources. Target setting and participation in regulatory audits will be utilised to drive performance, assess workload and promote an
efficient and industrious working culture.

The successful individual will be educated to degree level in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline and be able to display a strong technical understanding of HPLC, UPLC and GC. You will have extensive laboratory experience at a supervisory level and previous
experience delivering projects to timescales. The ability to author GxP compliant analytical reports and critically appraise data is essential to this position.
