Job Description

The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Biostatistician to join the pharmaceutical analysis division of a global contract testing organisation. This is a new endeavour by the Bioanalytical team, who now require a permanent on-site Statistician to implement and
co-ordinate the departments statistical and bioinformatic functions. This position has become available at an exciting time for both the Bioanalytical team and the company as a whole, as they experience a period of unchartered expansion.

The Statistician will be tasked with processing datasets and supporting a range of bioanalytical investigations including;
  • Cell-based potency assays
  • Immunogenicity studies
  • Pharmacokinetic studies
  • Next generation sequencing projects

Statisticians will also be involved in experimental design, method development, optimisation and validation through continuous performance monitoring.

The successful individual will have experience processing datasets from Pharmacokinetic studies and performing immunogenicity cut point analysis. You will be qualified in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or a related discipline.

Experience supporting next generation sequencing and genomic analysis studies would be highly advantageous. Scientists with a proven track record of data processing and interpretation, particularly of results obtained through next generation sequencing, will also be considered.

In return you will receive a competitive salary, good opportunities for progression and impressive employee benefits.
