We are pleased to be collaborating with a truly innovative Yorkshire-based SME to assist the appointment of a Software Engineer. This will be a senior position within the New Product Development team and will be pivotal in the delivery of products to market. With applications in analysis and predictive technology, this opportunity is both unique and engaging.
Initially embarking on an 18-month project, you will use JAVA to develop an analytical software package that will be integrated with my client’s pre-existing technology. You will be working in a desktop delivery environment and will be involved in all aspects of the design, including data visualisation, data analytics and user interface development.
After successful delivery of this project, attractive prospects will be available to the right individual, such as managerial responsibilities, strategical involvement and share options.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be experienced programming with JAVA. Experience with other languages such as C++ and the uses of SAS statistical software is desirable. This experience would preferably be gained in industry on time-restricted projects, although candidates with an extensive academic background such as a PhD in Computer Science will also be considered.
