The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analytical Chemist to join a growing specialist contract testing organisation. If you’re experienced using a range of analytical instrumentation to perform trace level analysis then this may be the position for you. This role has come to fruition through the success and subsequent growth of our client during the first portion of this year. New positions are becoming available across the facility as this expansion continues, making this an ideal time to join the business.
The successful individual will be educated to degree level or beyond in a related scientific discipline. A PhD in Analytical Chemistry is preferred but is not a substitute for industrial experience. You will have significant practical experience operating GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP-MS, with a focus on the application of gas chromatography for pesticide residue analysis. You will also be able to troubleshoot the analytical apparatus and be involved in method development, validation and optimisation.
