Job Description

With an excellent company culture, and currently undergoing a period of expansion, this is an excellent time to join the Berkshire based site of this successful CRO. This opportunity is perfect for an aspirational Scientist looking for a new challenge and to progress.   

You will predominantly be working with Agrochemical and Biocides Residues, so any experience in this area would be highly beneficial. No Management experience is necessary, but there will be the opportunity of management responsibilities for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Routine Analysis of Agrochemicals and Biocides, mostly through the use of Chromatographic Techniques.
  • Interpretation of Analytical data.
  • Method Development and Validation as and when required.
  • Ensuring all relevant regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Recording and documenting all work to the required standards and working efficiently to ensure project timelines are met. 

To be considered...


  • BSc in Chemistry or related, relevant discipline.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Practical Experience with Chromatographic techniques, ideally GC-MS and  LC-MS/MS
  • Experience in a similar, regulated laboratory environment.
  • Working knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).
  • Ideally you will have experience in the Agrochemical industry although this is not essential.
