Do you have a degree in Chemistry? Do you have knowledge of or experience in the Oil & Gas industry? Are you looking for a desk-based Sales role where you can mix new business development and account management on a daily basis?
Our client is looking for two degree-educated Sales Executives to join their expanding team, based at their offices near Chester.
You will hold a degree in Chemistry or similar scientific subject, and ideally you will have knowledge of, or experience in the Oil & Gas industry, as that’s where the vast majority of your calls will be targeted. Having a scientific educational background is essential for these roles as you will be required to communicate the services on offer in a technically proficient way.
Previous Sales or Business Development experience is not essential for this role, as long as you have the chemistry knowledge and communication skills to speak to potential clients. You will be generating appointments and developing relationships for the field-based BDM’s to go out and visit, so asking relevant questions and gaining information is also key to these roles.
There is real progression within this multi-channelled global business, with the next vertical step being out on the road as a Business Development Manager, where the earning potential and job satisfaction is tantalising.
