Job Description

My client is a leading global Consumer Goods business who are looking to recruit a Safety Manager to assist them in their manufacturing and development of their wide range of products.

The suitable incumbent will look to support the wider team across NPD, Compliance, Regulatory, Customer Care amongst others, giving advice and technical guidance where needed in order for the team to work efficiently and effectively. They will be responsible for new product development and approving safety assessments for successful product launches as well as defining safety standards to ensure products and processes adhere to safety requirements. They will have an in-depth focus on industry compliance and have a clear understanding of regulations that are in place in the industry.

To be considered...

This individual will have a number of years’ experience working in a Senior Safety / Toxicology role ideally across Cosmetics. They will need a degree in a Regulatory / Safety / Toxicology discipline and be an expert in their field. This is a leadership position so the ability to guide and lead others is highly important. The business seeks someone who is highly technical but is also able to communicate very well at all levels.
