Our client are a pioneering biopharmaceutical company who specialise in the field of oncology, focusing on targeted treatments for patients suffering from cancer. They pride themselves on putting people first and endearing to help those in need. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit for a number of Research Technicians to join their team.
Responsibilities will include tissue culturing and carrying out work using aseptic techniques to high company standards as well as receiving samples and processing them correctly in a timely manner. The suitable individual will also be responsible for looking after the laboratory in terms of cleanliness and ensuring stock levels are maintained. You will also need to analyse and troubleshoot problems within the laboratory with regards to analysis and experiments.
To be considered for the role you will a relevant scientific degree ideally within molecular/cell biology or biomedical science as well as 1+ years’ experience working in a laboratory within an industrial setting. You should have experience of aseptic technique as well as mammalian cell culturing. The ability to work as part of a team is also paramount and you must have a strong analytical mindset and keen eye for detail.
