Our client, a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced QC Analyst in the Lancashire to support the manufacture of PET radiopharmaceuticals. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work within tight deadlines. This will be a varied and challenging role, suitable for a proactive individual who is capable of working to tight deadlines.
The primary responsibility of the role will be HPLC and GC analysis of radiopharmaceuticals prior to release to be used in PET imaging.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, highly motivated team player who works well under pressure and has a track record of consistently meeting deadlines. He/she will be passionate about their work and will be looking for a career where their contribution has a real impact on our service delivery and patient care. Ideally they will have previous experience of working with, and maintaining, HPLC, GC and TLC.
You will be a graduate in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, pharmacy or a related scientific discipline with good working knowledge of analytical laboratory procedures with experience of GMP. Good time management skills and an ability to work under minimal supervision are essential. The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills, be technically minded, proactive and have the aptitude to follow methods/procedures precisely.
Due to the short shelf life of the products, Radiochemists are expected to work a flexible shift pattern of work including some unsociable hours.
