Job Description

This is an excellent time to join this successful Biotechnology and Diagnostics Manufacturer. The company are undergoing a period of significant expansion and are looking to recruit a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Team at their York site. If you are experienced with relevant Medical Device Regulations, and enjoy leading teams, with excellent communication skills, this may be the perfect role for you.

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the products manufactured by the company, as well as overseeing management and development of the QA and QC Teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with applicable standards.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure adherence to the QM
  • Oversee management and development of the QA and QC Teams.
  • Ensure effective Quality Processes are implemented, monitored and improved as necessary

To be considered...


  • BSc or equivalent in a relevant Scientific or Technical Discipline
  • Excellent working knowledge of, and experience with ISO9001 and ISO1348
  • Experience gained from a similar role in Medical Devices
  • Excellent Management Skills and Experience.
