The opportunity has arisen for an early career Scientist to join the Quality department of an invitro diagnostic manufacturing company. This position is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail who wishes to develop their skillset and gain further understanding of quality systems. This role has come to fruition during a period of growth across the facility,
You will be working alongside the manufacturing team, performing quality control testing and aiding product release. You will also be responsible for maintaining batch records, preparing product release documents and archiving all relevant information. The role will give you the chance to experience other parts of the business, facilitating both personal and career development.
Full training of the role will be provided, making this role suitable for applicants who haven’t worked directly in quality previously. Previous experience performing analytical procedures in a regulated environment or a working knowledge of quality systems such as GLP and ISO13485 will provide a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific discipline. You will have experience working in a laboratory, preferably an accredited lab. You will be comfortable with basic benchwork procedures such as sample dilutions. Previous experience with in vitro diagnostics or lateral flow assays is highly desirable.
