Our client is a rapidly growing medical device/diagnostics company who are working with pioneering technology to help patients. They pride themselves on producing industry-leading and innovative technology to make a difference within healthcare. They are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Lead to join their team.
Responsibilities will require you to be the main point of call for all quality assurance-related activities within the business, focusing on artificial intelligence, software, regulations and data. You will look to ensure that products adhere to industry regulations and quality standards, including ISO13485 and ISO14971 as well as UK MDR 2002. It will be your task to ensure that these standards are upheld across the business whilst working cross-functionally with other individuals at the company. Furthermore, you will look after audits, QMS activities as well as be responsible for CAPAs and non-conformances. This is a fully remote-based position with occasional face-to-face meetings with the rest of the team within the UK.
To be considered for the role you will have quality assurance experience in medical devices/diagnostics, particularly within data science and artificial intelligence. You will have working experience of ISO13485 and ISO14971 as well as UK MDR 2002. A relevant degree in an engineering or computer science discipline is also highly beneficial, but scientific degrees will also be considered. Expertise in QA in software and data science for medical devices and IVDs is also necessary. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
