A global and highly successful distributor of Chemical Products are seeking a Quality Assistant to join the team at their site in Glasgow. The company distribute a variety of chemicals for uses in a range of industries. The role will involve monitoring quality related process and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. This is a fantastic opportunity with great progression possibilities, perfect for either a highly motivated graduate or experienced quality professional.

Role Overview

• Implement, monitor and optimise process to ensure compliance in line with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
• Conduct Quality related activities including auditing, reporting anomalies and investigating customer complaints.
• Occasionally perform basic Laboratory Analysis.

Requirements

• Ideally Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, or with equivalent working experience in a similar environment.
• Experience with or knowledge of relevant standards including HACCP, Food Safety, BRC and ISO9001 is highly advantageous but not essential.
• High Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach essential
