We are working in collaboration with a consistently growing Life Sciences company who are well established in their chosen markets globally. The opportunity has arisen for a methodical individual to join their Quality department. The role is ideal for an early career Scientist looking to develop their skills and build upon their understanding of Quality.
You will be tasked with supporting the company’s quality control requirements through activities such as testing raw materials, calibrating equipment and aiding product release. This role will offer you variety as you work with a range of new technologies, performing different methodologies under different quality systems.
You will report directly into the QC Team Leader as part of a small team. Good opportunities for progression and personal development are offered as the department grows with the business.
The successful individual will be educated to degree level in Biology or a related scientific discipline. You will have some laboratory or production experience and be well versed in a range of molecular Biology techniques including PCR, nick translation and primer design. Previous experience in regulated environments or knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001 or ISO13485 would provide a distinct advantage.
