Our client has an ambitious and determined focus on becoming one of the leaders in the industry and they pride themselves on the excellence of their products. The company is made up of a variety on individual specialists with years of experience in the industry, they are now looking to recruit for a Production Scientist to join their team.
Responsibilities will include organising and qualifying biochemical reagents for use in commercial products, producing molecular diagnostic assay reagents and assisting with the installation, validation and maintenance of laboratory manufacturing equipment. The suitable individual will also prepare batch production records and ensure compliance of production operations with the company’s quality system.
To be considered for the role you will be experienced in working in a production laboratory setting. Ideally you will have experience in the molecular diagnostics field as well as lyophilisation and freeze drying of biomolecules. You should have good IT skills as well as be a team-player. It is also highly important to have motivation and desire to work proactively and efficiently in order to help grow the business further. A flexible and mature approach will also be necessary.
