Looking for an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity within the radiopharmaceutical industry? Do you have clean room experience manufacturing licenced pharmaceuticals? Are you experienced within a GMP regulated environment?
Our client, a large radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, are looking to recruit a number of Radiochemists to join their South Yorkshire production facility. This will be a varied and challenging role, suitable for a proactive individual who is capable of working to tight deadlines.
Main duties involve the production and radio-synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging. Production Radiochemists may also be concerned with authoring SOPs and other quality related procedures.
The successful candidate will be experienced in pharmaceutical production, preferably the aseptic compounding of chemotherapy or other cytotoxic products. Previous experience with radioactive material is not a pre-requisite of the role but would be highly advantageous. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential. The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills, be technically minded, proactive and have the aptitude to follow methods/procedures precisely. A good working knowledge of GMP regulations is essential.
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary, good progression opportunities and an impressive employee benefits package.
Due to the short shelf life of the products, Radiochemists are expected to work a flexible shift pattern of work including some unsociable hours.
