Job Description
Our client are a leading global business who supply a wide range of consumer products to the UK and International markets. Key responsibilities
- Understand and be a subject expert within the market as well as on the ideal product for consumers
- Have a strong awareness of competitor products and how the company will compete and exceed within a tough market
- Influence and work closely with various cross-functional teams
- Project management
- Working as part of a team to deliver R&D management within innovation and renovation
- Lead new product development whilst having a clear focus on time and cost factors
- Ensure a seamless handover to teams to make sure an un-interrupted allocation of R&D project ownership through to launch
To be considered...
Requirements
- Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of providing R&D support
- Product design/development experience
- Experience in understanding consumer needs and developing products from technical & consumer point of view
- Idea generation
- Strong verbal/written communication & influencing skills
- Team working skills
