We are pleased to present this exciting opportunity of joining the Bioassay department of our client’s multifaceted research and testing facility in the North West. If you are an innovative and forward-thinking individual with extensive experience in ICH method development and validation then this may be the position for you.
Senior positions within this department have arisen during a period of growth across the facility and are available at the Principal Scientist level and Technical Expert level. You will be tasked with supporting client projects through the application of GMP cell-based investigations.
You will be heavily involved in the development of new methods and optimisation of existing ones, as well as contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of the facility. Daily tasks will be largely autonomous and unsupervised, although the client-driven nature of the business often calls for collaboration to meet client demands. You will be expected to take on mentoring responsibilities to provide guidance to junior team members, promoting their development.
Due to the nature of the industry, working hours have the potential to be flexible depending on how high the demand is for our client’s services.

Successful individuals will be educated to degree level or higher in a related scientific subject and will have an excellent working knowledge of good manufacturing, laboratory, clinical and documentation practices. Considerable experience in performing, developing and validating cell-based potency assays (ADCC, CDC etc.) is essential.
