A prominent DNA testing organisation are seeking an Operations Manager to join the organisation. The UKAS Accredited company offer a variety of DNA testing services from their centrally located, state-of-the-art facility and headquarters in Newcastle.

This will be an Executive Position reporting directly to the COO, with a focus on managing the company’s operational activities. Main responsibilities include the implementation of appropriate quality management systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Operations Manager also has commercial responsibilities and will be involved in the development of the Company’s business plan as well as training and managing Technical and Quality Staff.

To be considered...

To be considered you will be educated to at least BSc level in a relevant discipline and ideally have a background in Genetics or Genotyping. You will have excellent time-management and organisational skills, as the responsibilities of this role will be varied. Your exceptional people skills and previous experience of managing small teams will make you adept at communicating with colleagues and clients at all levels. Your desire to excel will be evidenced by your consistent record of achieving or exceeding KPIs.
