Job Description

Key skills required as follows:

Role Purpose    

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a prominent member of the UK infrastructure where you will focus on developing and growing a presence. The company are a Cloud based computing software provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) within a variety of laboratory settings.

  • The purpose of the Laboratory Sales Manager is to meet or exceed financial goals by promoting, demonstrating and selling Information Management Systems into Laboratories across the Scientific Sector
  • Create a holistic territory plan & manage net new sales process from prospecting to close to achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration & complete territory coverage
  • Regional expert on systems and technologies
  • Own prospecting strategy, forecasting, funnel development & management, territory develop and close deals. Achieve orders, sales & targets.
  • Develop & implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Work closely with the Italian Head Office Marketing Team (webinars and white papers)
  • Work closely with the Italian Head Office Technical Team
  • Where necessary, represent the company publicly in a commercial capacity at scientific symposia, tradeshows, or similar events.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products and marketing practices.

To be considered...

Required Skills & Background

  • Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience in the Scientific / Laboratory business segment and consultative sales/marketing experience including strategic selling and negotiation and demonstrated ability to grow business
  • Ability to operate effectively in a technical and commercial environment
  • The ability to communicate in Italian would be a distinct advantage
  • Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
