Job Description

Our client are a leader in laboratory equipment and consumables supply. They work with a wide range of customer, ranging from wastewater treatment to life science application and everything in between. They have been establishing themselves as one of the best in the industry since their inception many years ago and are now looking to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their team.

Responsibilities will include following up sales leads and generating successful laboratory sales with potential and existing clients. This will be done remotely with occasional visits to the office for team meetings. The role will be predominantly telephone and e-mail based with the opportunity to attend exhibitions when necessary. You will also look to prospect new sales leads and be an active commercial force within the company with a view to maximising sales for the company. 

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in Chemistry or related subject and ideally have some experience working in a laboratory. Experience of working in a sales role is also imperative ideally with experience of working to targets. The ability to interpret and understand technical information as well as communicate and articulate it to other individuals will be important. Experience of SAP is highly beneficial. You should also be highly computer and IT literate and have good attention to detail. The ability to work well as part of a team will be integral as well as having a strong initiative.
