This client is an ambitious and motivated pharmaceutical testing company who currently going through a strong period of growth. They pride themselves on providing industry-leading services to a range of customers in the Pharmaceutical industry. They are now looking to recruit a Laboratory & Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a combined role that oversees both laboratory management and sales for the company.

Responsibilities will include overseeing the company department to ensure scientific tests are carried out effectively and to a high standard. Information regarding this work will need to be communicated to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will look to work closely with clients, generating quotes and understanding their requirements in order to capitalise on sales. You will also be responsible for looking after the wider and team's time, resources and workload. Furthermore, you will form part of the senior team and look after the direction of the company with relation to new clients.

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will have substantial experience of working in pharmaceutical tablet formulation and testing. You will also have experience of managing a team and be able to manage projects within a CRO environment. You will have laboratory experience as well as commercial expertise and be able to work effectively with clients. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
