Our client are rapidly growing diagnostics business who specialise in revolutionary technology to rapidly test individuals for a range of illnesses. They have been working hard to establish themselves at the forefront of science and have made an important impact on the world of diagnostic testing. Due to growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Junior R&D Scientist to join their team.

Responsibilities will include working across product development and R&D functions as part of a team, this will involve developing, creating and executing projects within the laboratory. You will also look after the analysis, reporting and communication of results to the wider business as well as look to seek continuous improvements. 

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will have experience in molecular lab techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, qPCR and gel electrophoresis within GLP regulated environments. A relevant degree in a scientific discipline is also necessary. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
