Job Description

Our client is a longstanding and established company who specialises in analytical equipment for the scientific industry. They have grown significantly over their time in the industry and have worked hard to build a great reputation for themselves in the market. They are now looking to recruit an International Product Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities will include working as the lead point of contact for clients and building strong relationships with them to ensure lasting partnerships and growth. This will be done through an in-depth understanding of their needs and requirements as well as holding technical discussions with them to best advise on company products. There will also be an obligation to manage a variety of projects and ensure that these are delivered on time and to a high standard. The position will also include some overseas travel to exhibitions and customers. 

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will have experience of plant science or plant physiology, which can have been gained through academic research. Understanding of scientific analytical equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting, will also be imperative. Furthermore, you will have commercial experience, ideally in a product management or sales related position. You should be able to communicate well with customers and have a strong ability to articulate and explain complex scientific topics in a manageable way. Willingness to travel overseas is also needed.
