Job Description

Due to an early retirement, we are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Representative based in their Nottingham offices. The Sales Representative will be a vital link between their marketing department and distribution network.

Duties include:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquiries and outbound calling campaigns into defined target groups
  • Follow up on leads via eshots / trade shows and own research
  • Focusing on all sectors including laboratories, hospitals and universities
  • Identify and develop key contacts and decision makers within prospect accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships within NHS suppliers such as NHS Supply Chain
  • Utilise consultative sales approach to evaluate and understand customers' business and needs
  • Tender preparation
  • Cold-calling potential customers, be able to generate own sales leads

 

To be considered...

Key Skills Required:

  • Ideally two years of experience in an Inside Sales, Lead Development or Account Management role developing relationships across a wide range of customers/clients via phone and email.
  • Ability to learn quickly, ensure timely and accurate follow-up
  • Excellent phone and computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Proficiency using the internet to conduct research
  • Ability to perform individually with specific direction and manage time efficiently
  • Develop an organised daily routine of reviewing leads, making outbound calls, and responding to customer emails
  • Prior Sales training a plus
  • Energetic, creative, motivated self-starter, goal oriented and a team player
  • Drivers license essential

 Education Requirements:

  • BSc Degree or equivalent
