Job Description

Our client is a market leading biotechnology & laboratory technology company who are looking to grow their existing team of Instrument Account Specialists. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales, business development, customer coverage and product & service understanding for the region, working out of Chicago, Illinois, while working as an effective part of the larger regional, national and global teams. 

They will be expected to meet & exceed the region’s established revenue through diversifying the product mix in their P&L, collaborating with the regional team, attending trade shows & technical seminars, conducting demonstrations, engaging & developing active accounts as well as create new business for the region.

To be considered...

To be considered for this role you must have either least 3 years’ experience in a direct sales role with scientific capital equipment, or 5 years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience. 

You must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a life science, biomedical engineering or a similar discipline. Previous experience in a technical direct sales role will be preferred. 

You must also be computer proficient, be fully competent in CRM for daily usage, and be an expert in highly technical sales.

You will require full driver’s license and personal transport as travel will be required immediately.
