Our client are a diagnostics and equipment company who specialise in laboratory instrumentation within the Microbiology sector. Supplying a wide variety of company, they have grown extensively over the last few years. They pride themselves as pioneers of the market and continue to develop and grow to become a tried and tested provider. They are now looking to recruit for 2 Field application Specialists to the join their team, one who will look after the North of the country and one who will look after the South.
The suitable individual will be responsible for working closely with customers to provide technical assistance and support through demonstrating use of equipment, installation of equipment and training. You will be responsible for being on-hand for customer issues and troubleshooting as well as after sales care. Working closely with customers to ensure full satisfaction is achieved will be of paramount importance.
To be considered for the role you will ideally need Microbiology experience and have a degree in a similar or related discipline with the knowledge of lab software and bioinformatics. Prior experience of supplier relationship management and experience in a commercial field support role is highly beneficial. You should be able to travel throughout the UK and have a clean driver’s licence. The ability to work well as part of a team and customers is also extremely important.
