Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for the right calibre of individual to enhance their career in the export industry. Our client is looking to expand their team by recruiting an Export Coordinator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of documentation to support the export of products on a global scale.
  • Processing orders and quotations from customers and distributors.
  • Liaison with freight forwarders to request quotes and booking collections.
  • Ensuring documentation is compliant with export legislation.
  • Carrying out checks on customer and distributors prior to consignments being exported.

The ideal candidate would be educated to degree level with experience within the chemical industry, preferably within an export environment. You will have export experience including IATA and an IMDG qualification in addition to experience handling Letters of Credit and dangerous goods documentation. The successful candidate will have hands on experience using ERP systems such as Sage X3 or SAP. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills with a keen eye for details. You must be confident using Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with local Chamber of Commerce relating to submitting Certificates of Origin is desirable but not essential.
