Do you want to work for a global testing services business? Do you have knowledge and experience of scientific instrument operation and maintenance? Do you hold certifications such as GAMP?
The Equipment Manager will be based within one of the largest divisions of the business and you will have responsibility for the maintenance, calibration and operation of all analytical equipment within the department.
This will include devising and then communicating best operational practices to the analytical team, in order to minimise avoidable breakdowns and delays. You will hold the responsibility for ensuring these practices are maintained internally.
You will also work closely with a variety of Instrument Vendors and Service Engineers to maintain equipment, and perform repairs if necessary.
You will have an eye for detail and organisation. This will be demonstrated in your ability to manage and maintain equipment records any necessary regulatory compliance for the equipment, making recommendations where you see fit when upgrades or replacements are necessary.
The role will require you to train others in the correct use and/or maintenance of various scientific equipment, so being a strong, clear communicator is a real benefit.
This is a chance to work for a large and established business, based within a facility that is populated with some truly impressive hardware.
