Job Description

Our client, a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, offering reliable licensed supplies of PET radiopharmaceuticals across the UK to imaging centres, is looking to recruit an Engineering and Training Manager for their business within the UK. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the production facility. This will be a varied and challenging role, suitable for a proactive individual who is capable of working to tight deadlines.

Main duties are to ensure functional operation and maintenance of the production of radiopharmaceuticals PET imaging. Assist production staff during manufacturing activities by providing direct engineering and training support and also set up, co-ordinate and supervise external engineering support.

You will be a graduate in Engineering or a related scientific discipline with good working knowledge of radiopharmaceutical laboratory procedures, though not necessarily gained in industry. Good time management skills and an ability to work under minimal supervision are essential. The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills, be technically minded, proactive and have the aptitude to follow methods/procedures precisely. Good working knowledge of GMP regulations would be a distinct advantage.
