Job Description

We are recruiting for an Director of Strategic Business Development who will be responsible for the global alignment of their indirect market development globally. The role is focused on someone who can align the strategy of distributors and execute growth.

This position is responsible for:

  • Review all key geographies sales progress and market share penetration
  • Identify and align to strategic products opportunity via increased routes to market on regional and global basis
  • Identify and develop US market access business case and forward partner identification and commitments
  • Pursue all levels of Business Development
  • Work in partnership with Sales Directors where the organisation has a direct market investment.
  • Supplement that go to market strategy with creative additional revenue streams into these markets that increases sales
  • Support Directors where required in negotiation and ensure  it aligns to agreed global view and vice versa
  • Forecasting for global/pan region Partners 

To be considered...

Key Skills Required include:

  • Extensive experience of Business To Business Selling
  • Experience of working within surgical specialities essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a Go To Market strategy essential
  • Strong Negotiation experience
  • English language skills essential with additional other European languages preferred
  • Ability to travel 50%-70% of the time (when allowed)
  • Ambitious and responds well to high pressure environments
  • Science or Business degree at MSc or MBA level preferred
