Our client is a global solutions provider for chromatography equipment focusing on working with clients from all corners of the scientific markets. They pride themselves on being top-class customer partners with a view to giving support and assistance on a range of equipment. They are now looking to recruit an Applications Engineer to join their growing team in the UK.

Responsibilities will include developing chromatography applications for clients across both hardware and software. You will also present solutions to customers to cater to their individual specifications and requirements. Continuous learning and keeping up to date with technology will also be highly important as will contributing to development at the company site.

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will have significant experience of gas chromatography and ideally have worked within a laboratory or application engineering position previously. Expertise of maintenance, repair and installation of GC/MS and LC/MS equipment is also necessary, as is expertise across method development and validation. You should be able to communicate effectively with customers as well as colleagues and you should have a strong ability to organise and prioritise your time. A full clean driver’s licence is also mandatory for the position as is a readiness to travel across the UK & Ireland.
