Job Description

Our client are a global pharmaceutical company who have expanded exponentially over the last few years. They pride themselves on producing industry-leading products to make a difference to the world of pharmaceuticals and therapies. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities will include working as lead point of contact for clients as well as building strong relationships with them to ensure lasting partnerships and growth. This will be done through an in-depth understanding of their needs and requirements. The position will also include some overseas travel to exhibitions and office presence (particularly early in the role) would be required circa. 3 days per week. This role will not include frequent UK travel and is not your typical type of Business Development Manager as it will mainly be office based related sales activities.  

To be considered...

To be considered for the role you will have experience in a sales or business development position within the Pharmaceutical industry, as well as expertise in delivering client-focused requirements. A relevant degree in a scientific discipline is also necessary and you should have a technical mindset which includes knowledge of synthetic chemistry. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
