Job Description

Our client are an independent company who specialise in providing accredited analytical services to food industry customers. They supply routine testing services to ensure companies comply with food safety and legislation. They are a young but stable company who have grown rapidly since their inception.

The role would be a great opportunity for someone with Sales experience specifically within microbiology in a food or related industry / commercial laboratory. The position will see the suitable candidate gain further exposure to the market, working with a variety of key customers and developing sales growth for the company.

The purpose of the position will be to secure new accounts, find leads and develop business within a competitive market whilst maximising the company’s market-share within the Food testing industry. There will be a strong emphasis on building strong customer relationships and maintaining a high level of service to existing clients.

In return you will receive a competitive salary which will be based on experience plus a bonus scheme. You will be given autonomy and self-responsibility as well as the opportunity to grow within an adaptable and successful company.

To be considered...

The suitable candidate will ideally have a Microbiology degree or established experience working in the market or similar. They will need to be good at communicating both internally and externally and have experience of presenting to key stakeholders. A full, clean driving license is also required.
