Job Description

My client is looking for a Business Development Executive with experience in or knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market to cover parts of the South of England from their hub in Cambridgeshire. 

The business provides support to Chemical & Pharmaceutical companies with regards to efficacy, assurance, testing, inspection and certification. Although you will be based at their site in Cambridgeshire, occasional travel within the UK and internationally will be expected. 

Key responsibilities; 

  • Identify key business opportunities through research, networking and prospecting 
  • Record and maintain all relevant information on internal CRM system 
  • Develop existing client relationships 
  • Increase brand visibility and site exposure throughout the territory, attending trade shows, exhibitions, etc.  
  • Liaise with Technical and Quality teams to identify suppliers that clients could work with for mutual benefit.

To be considered...

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the target markets, and an understanding of the regulatory requirements for clinical evaluation of pharmaceutical products. Alternatively, you will have a scientific qualification coupled with some previous Sales/BD experience.
