Job Description

As an Analyst working within the Biological Characterisation team, you will be responsible for the analysis of Bio-Pharmaceuticals. 

You will be experienced in many of the following techniques:

  • Intact Mass
  • Peptide mapping
  • Glycan analysis
  • Size Exclusion (SEC)
  • Reversed Phase (RP)
  • Circular Dichroism (CD)
  • Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR)
  • Analytical Ultra Centrifugation (AUC)
  • Capillary Electrophoresis (CE, CE-SDS, cIEF, CZE)
  • Gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE, IEF)
  • Amino acid analysis
  • Transmission electron microscopy (TEM, Cryo-TEM)
  • Scanning electron microscope (SEM)
  • Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(SEM/EDX)
The ideal candidate will be familiar with working to GMP, GLP or GCP standards and have experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
